Visit the surroundings of Frýdlant nad Ostravicí, a small town in the foothills, which is famous for its iron and enamel production. You will find it right in the picturesque valley between Lysá hora and Ondřejník.

The mountains surrounding the town and surrounding villages are also perfect for paragliding enthusiasts. For summer fun, there is a swimming pool with a water slide in Frýdlant or you can take advantage of some of the natural swimming at the rafts on the Ostravice River.
The village of Ostravice is the most ideal place for hiking or cycling trips in the Beskydy Mountains. It is situated directly under the peak of the queen of the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy Mountains, Lysá hora, which you must certainly climb during your stay. You will find plenty of accommodation here, the most delicious beer in the Beskydy Mountains for 2016 and 2018 is brewed here or you can play on the top 18-hole course with an amazing view of Lysá hora. Right in the centre of Ostravice you can also ride on the newly built pumptrack.
Even in winter you can have just as much fun in Frýdlant as in summer, as there are plenty of suitable terrains for downhill and cross-country skiing in the surroundings.
