Forest animal preserve Bílá

Forest animal preserve Bílá

Not only with children to see animals? Forest animal preserve Bílá is situated only a few minutes' walk from the centre of the village of Bílá, where you will find it in the beautiful surroundings of the Beskydy forests, not far from the Bílá hunting lodge.

The hut has several spacious enclosures with forest animals. Here you can see Jindra the deer with a doe, pheasants, mouflons, as well as fallow deer including a family of the rare white albino fallow deer. If you're lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of Ferda the Dachshund from his burrow.

The whole area of the preserve is perfectly complemented by wooden sculptures by the well-known Ostravice artist Luděk Vančura, whose creations can be found in various places in the Beskydy Mountains (e.g. the Paradise of Wooden Sculptures in Ostravice, the Wallachian Trail in Pustevny, benches on Lysá hora).

There is a rest area with a parking lot right at the entrance to the preserve, which has up to 50 parking spaces. If you are heading to the Obůrka from the centre of Bílá, you can choose a slightly more adrenaline-filled, but more adventurous route leading from the ski slope, which is especially for children enriched with stops with the theme of forest animals.
