24 hours on Lysá hora (Bald Mountain) is one of the most popular and likewise most difficult races in the Czech Republic. Participants test their endurance on a challenging 11.5 km long circuit between Ostravice and Lysá hora.
The goal of the race is to conquer the queen of the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy as many times as possible during a 24-hour period. The race is attended annually by over a thousand daring individuals out to test their physical and mental endurance.
The event is organized by well-known Czech climber Libor Uher and his team. He is the second Czech to conquer K2, the second highest mountain in the world.
