Folk music, singing, dancing, colorful costumes, smiling dancers, joyous children, a square full of satisfied spectators, stalls with regional products, craftwork, and last but not least plenty of refreshments - this is one of the biggest folk festivals in the Beskydy.
Naturally there is plenty of Moravian wine, the excellent bitter taste of Radegast beer, and enthusiastic organizers. That's a brief summary of what to expect during the third weekend in June and the CIOFF®/IOV Frýdek-Místek International Folk Festival, which every year brings this city in the shadow of Lysá hora to life. The festival features not only local groups, but those from various corners of our country and from abroad.
